Therapy By Phone
I am happy to provide psychotherapy by phone to expats who are looking for an English-speaking therapist.
Ideally, therapy will occur in person. However, if English-speaking therapists are in short supply where you live, you may not be able to find a psychotherapist who is a good fit for you. In this case, telephone therapy might be a good option for you as it will give you more choice.
Please feel free to read through the pages of this website to find out more about what to expect in therapy if we were to work together. Of course, things will be a little different by phone, but not too different!
NOTE to Expats Living Abroad:
Adjusting to a new country and way of life can be challenging for both newcomers and those who have been away from home for quite some time. The challenges for each is unique.
Also, a major life change such as moving countries can stir up a lot of feelings about many different areas of life – not just the adjustment to a new way of life. It may stir up feelings of loss, identity issues, self-esteem, relationship issues, and other difficult emotions. If we decide to work together, I hope you will feel free to use the opportunity of therapy to explore the full range of your emotional life.
Please note that if therapy is regulated in the country/province/state in which you live, I may not be able to provide therapy or mental health counselling services as I am registered only in the province of Ontario, Canada. However, I may be able to provide coaching services. Please click on the “Life Coaching” link if you are interested in this option.
To discuss your interest in therapy or to set up an appointment, please contact me at email@example.com or 416-710-4958. Appointments are often available as early as the next business day.
